Fund Raising Events

We have planned several events this coming season that our players will certainly enjoy. Our fundraising efforts will finance these events.  In the past, we have had a tremendous response from many of our players since our fundraising activities allow us to do many things as a team. 

We have traveled to New Jersey for a New Jersey Nets NBA basketball game. On this trip, we have traveled on a coach bus and provided a meal for all of the players. Along with this annual trip, we have purchased warm-ups and practice jerseys and our players have had their summer basketball activities paid for, including our “Shoot the Lights Out” Basketball Camp. The summer basketball activities include summer league entry fees and the individual cost for any team shootout.

Our annual SHOOTATHON will be held this year. Each of our players will be shooting 250 free throws on this day then will collect money for each free throw made as well as any donation given to the player. It is our biggest fundraising event. The fund raising goal for each player has been $150. When this is goal met, it entitles the individual player to attend all of our team-sponsored events for free.

Again, the amount of money raised as a team dictates our outside activities. We are hoping that each player will meet his goal during our fundraising efforts. This affords us the opportunities presented.
